Quick, while all the littles one are asleep!

Ok, I know it's been a great while since I have updates this blog. I apologize. I never realized how being a mother of three sucks up your time. My days are filled with diapers, little people, and peanut butter and jelly! It's about to get more chaotic ( No, I am not pregnant.) but more on that in a second.

A little update on the kids:

Ella is doing wonderful and is growing into a little beautiful girl. I recently had to trim her bangs and I feel she looks so much older. She enjoys playing with her friends in the church nursery twice a week, and loves to play with her sisters (why do I feel like I am writing a personal add for my daughter??). She knows a ton of letters ( like D for daddy and P for poppa) and has tried counting from 1 to 5 which usually ends up 1,2,3,4,9. Her vocabulary has grown immensly these past few weeks becoming a little chatty Cathy.

Cara is crawling around everywhere and has decided she will finally sit up. She is still a little wobbly but I am sure her stability will start increasing soon. She enjoys her food now that they are on solids. She is nearly comparable to her twin sister in size which we all thought would never happen! No teeth yet, but I am sure they will be popping up soon.

Lily has been sitting for quite awhile now, but no rolling or crawling yet. She has begun to tolerate her 'tummy' time alot better and will try to move except she doesn't seem to get far..at all. She isn't into solids too much, but she will eat them if she likes that certain kind. Trying to keep her hands down from the spoon isn't easy but she enjoys the playtime she gets.

We haven't been to the Drs. in a few months, so I do need to make their appointment soon. I don't have any stats as far as weight or anything, but they are growing and that is all that matters!

Derek had a promotion a few weeks ago to apprentince and he is loving getting his hands dirty again. His immediate boss has given him a few 'attaboys' so that is super encouraging to him. His hours are long which makes him tired when he comes home but he has risen to the challenge!

Myself. Well, I will be starting as a Freshman this fall at our local community college. I will be taking 13 credit hours which means I will be full time. I was able to get two online courses, Introduction to Psychology and Mathematics for Health Sciences. I will be going two nights a week for Anatomy & Physiology at the main campus and English Composition one night a week at a local high school. I plan on studying with hopes of being a nurse. I know it's alot to take on but I know that I can do it!!

It's been too long

Sorry for the wait everyone. Things are going good over here lately. We have been trying the toliet thing with Ella (not totally trying, but introducing and everything) and it's been going great. She went pee yesterday in her potty chair before her bath which was awesome! I was so excited. She started getting a little fussy before we left for church and she got a fever while we were there. We laid her down when we got home so it was a slight rough night. I am HOPING it's just teething.

The little ones are getting big. Their 6 month appointment is next week so I am hoping to hear the stats on them. They are getting big. Cara is rolling and moving around and Lily, well...not so much. I'm not too worried but when Early Intervention calls (they monitor premature infants/special needs) I will have them reavaluated to see how they are doing. So far everything has been good, I just want to catch anything if it needs work.

But other then that, not a whole lot. OH! Ella loves the Zoo and seeing her 'aminals'. :)

Happy late Mothers Day!

Sorry for the long wait. Life has been busy here. The weather is getting nicer so we are trying to enjoy it!! Here is an updated pictures of the family :)

It was taken for mother's day this year. The girls are all getting big. Cara is rolling all over the place and Lily is slowly trying. Ella's favorite song is 'head and shoulders, knees and toes....'. I hear a baby! Talk to you all soon!

The beautiful weather!

I am so glad that it is becoming 'spring' outside now. Ella and I love sitting on the front porch waiting for daddeeee to come home from work everyday. I can not believe how big and talkative Ella has been getting these past few weeks. She loves going to the park and playing outside. She loves having her 'nacks' everyday (snacks for those that don't know baby language) and tells me when she needs a diaper change (which is encouraging to know).

The babies are getting so big as well. Last visit they were nearly 11 and 12 pounds. Lily is still winning in the chunky scale and they both are growing beautifully. Cara loves her tummy time and has rolled over more then once. Lily hates it with a burning passion but trys to sit up alot so I'm not too worried. They are both grabbing toys and are starting to notice one another. They are smiling all the time and I'm even getting the anticipation giggles from them when I go to 'tickle' them. They are truly a blessing.

I wish I had Easter pictures to put up but all the littles ones were sick so nothing but water and crackers for Ella for a few days. Maybe I will put them in all their dresses for kicks and take pictures.

Thanks for the reading!

The girls will be 4 months in two days. Last friday we got them weighed for their RSV shots and Cara was just over 10 lbs and Lily was just over 11 lbs. It's crazy how much they weigh now :)

Here are some pictures.
Everyone is doing good. Ella's new toys are wooden puzzles that she got from her cousins. She LOVES them to death. The twins are doing well, getting big!
Derek's birthday was yesterday. Daddy turned 21! We are going out to celebrate this weekend. I got a babysitter and I am so worried..I've never left them with anyone before! AHH!
